Dataset Builder

Describe the dataset you need — entities, metrics, periods — and get it back as a multi-tab Excel workbook in which every cell names its source and exactly where in it the number was found. Retrieval agents query the internal data warehouse by SQL first, then statistics agencies, company filings and the web; values are recorded as printed and converted by code; disagreements between sources are kept on a Conflicts tab, and anything not found stays blank and listed on a Gaps tab — nothing is invented.
Highlights
Every cell has a source and a locator
A value exists only with the URL or table it came from and where exactly — "Statement I, row Apr, column General", "warehouse table upi_mth_stats, row 0". Hover any cell in the workbook to see it; the Provenance tab lists them all.
SQL and structured sources first
Agents search the internal warehouse, read the table doc, run SQL and import the rows by code — no numbers retyped. Only what the warehouse lacks goes to official releases, filings and the web.
Conversions by code, conflicts in the open
Crore, lakh, mn, bn, bps and fiscal periods are converted arithmetically. When sources disagree the higher-tier source wins and the other value is kept on the Conflicts tab; derived metrics are live Excel formulas.
